Dr. Marguritte S. Johnson’s journey is one of faith, family, leadership, service, and legacy.
From ministry and mentorship to entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, media, consulting, and community advocacy, Dr. MSJ has spent decades creating spaces where people can discover their potential and move confidently toward purpose.
Her passion for women began early in her ministry journey. In 2001, she launched Mirror, Mirror, an intimate women’s ministry centered on transparency, healing, and confronting the woman in the mirror. That work later evolved into The Godly Girlfriend Movement, expanding into retreats, conferences, enrichment experiences, and opportunities for women to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Those years of mentorship, ministry, and advocacy ultimately helped lay the foundation for Stand 4 Sisterhood—an organization created to provide structured development for girls, strategic elevation for women, and empowered leadership within communities.

Explore the Work Behind the Woman
Dr. Johnson graduated from Duncanville High School in May 1997 in the Top 11% of her class of nearly 700 students. Even then, excellence was already her standard. With dreams of becoming an attorney, she gravitated toward Debate, English, and Journalism—fields that sharpened her voice and strengthened her conviction.
Exactly one year later, on May 30, 1998, after meeting at Walmart, she said “I Do” to Dr. Jeremiah Johnson Sr. Today, they reside in Dallas, Texas, celebrating over 26 years of marriage and raising two extraordinary children.
Faith, family, and fortitude have always been her foundation.
